The Foundation Tee is one of the starting points of Matter. Rather than creating another basic tee, we wanted to build the kind of piece that could form the foundation of a wardrobe.

Made from heavyweight 260 GSM 100% cotton, it features a boxy silhouette with a slightly cropped length for a clean, modern shape. Reinforced shoulder stitching adds structure and durability, while the cotton-spandex neck ribbing helps the neckline hold its shape.

Finished with a screen-printed Matter logo on the front. A simple foundation, made with more thought.

A) Shoulder Measure across the back from the end of one shoulder seam to the other, following the shoulder line.
B) Chest Lay the t-shirt flat, face up. Measure straight across from armpit to armpit. Do not pull the fabric tight.
C) Length At the back, measure from the neck seam, where the collar meets the body, straight down to the bottom hem.
